Calgary Interfaith Food Bank
In support of the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank, the Herringer Kiss Gallery is putting on a group art show and we are glad to be able to share

Did you know?
In January 2009, 37% more Calgarians turned to the Calgary Foodbank for assistance than in January 2008. (9,013 in 2009 compared to 6,589 in 2008)
In February 2009, 43% more Calgarians turned to the Calgary Foodbank for assistance than in February 2008. (9,729 in 2009 compared to 6,812 in 2008)
In March 2009, 80% more Calgarians turned to the Calgary Foodbank for assistance than in March 2008. (11,572 in 2009 compared to 6,437 in 2008)
43% of Calgary Interfaith Foodbank clients are children.
The need is growing. Help support the Calgary Inter-Faith Foodbank through the Herringer Kiss Gallery’s Art for Food Group Show and Sale. For the duration of the exhibition, the Herringer Kiss Gallery will donate funds to the Calgary Foodbank towards purchase of emergency food hampers for needy families. For each $1,000 of art sold, a family of four will be supplied with the required food necessities for one entire week.
