There is a fantastic art show and sale on June 28th. Its PARKSALE 2009! PARKSALE is a non-profit event organized by a group of Calgary-based artists. The purpose of the event is to help support, promote, and introduce fellow young artists to the thriving Calgary arts scene as many have never have this opportunity before.
The best part? 100% of the profit of sales goes directly to the young artists who participate in PARKSALE.

I stumbled upon this event last year by accident and it was great.
It’s also wonderful to see that you were having to turn away potential vendors, hopefully this event can keep on growing. I love the Edmonton version of this (Art days on Whyte Ave) but placing it all in one field with DJ’s and an organized, unified front is a really cool way to do it too.
