The second annual Art Auction Fundraiser, MASTERPIECE Contemporary 2009, being held by The Art Gallery of Calgary is coming up!
The event takes place on September 17, 2009. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the auction begins at 7:30 pm. Join Senior Art Curator, Marianne Elder on September 16, 2009 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm to to preview the art.

In anticipation of MASTERPIECE Contemporary 2009, The Art Gallery of Calgary is holding a raffle for Attila Richard Lukacs’ American Flag Edition #47. Tickets are $20 each and the winning ticket will be drawn September 17, 2009 at MASTERPIECE Contemporary 2009. Tickets can be purchased at The Art Gallery of Calgary front desk. Proceeds from the art auction and raffle ticket sales will go to support The Art Gallery of Calgary’s education and public programming.
In what’s shaping up to be a slower than usual summer for art, this is a great opportunity to see beautiful art, possibly purchase new art, and definitely support the Calgary art community!

I deal with a gallery in Southern Alberta and was wondering if you are excepting pieces for your Sept 17 auction to help the art gallery. Are you able to do 50/50 splits on pieces We could do unreserved. Please let me know and I can jpg images.
